2025 marks the 27th staging of Sigma Corporate Run. The impactful event is set to raise J$115 million for three deserving beneficiaries: Kingston Public Hospital, Father Ho Lung and Friends Foundation, and Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre.  Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) is the largest multidisciplinary hospital in the English-speaking Caribbean. It provides life-saving healthcare services to thousands of Jamaicans each year. The hospital benefited from the Sigma Corporate Run in 2008 and 2022.

This year, funds raised will help procure critical equipment to modernise the facility’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring patients in dire need receive the best possible care.  Father Ho Lung and Friends Foundation, led by the renowned Jamaican priest Father Richard Ho Lung is dedicated to uplifting the poor, sick, and marginalised. The foundation provides housing, healthcare, and spiritual support to those it serves. A past beneficiary of the run in 2017, the foundation will use this year’s funds to repair the roof of the Bethlehem Home – a sanctuary for homeless individuals and children with disabilities. Currently, the deteriorating roof leaves residents exposed to the elements, especially when it rains. These repairs are vital to restoring the safety and dignity of those that seek shelter at the facility.

Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre is a cornerstone of physical trauma recovery in Jamaica. The centre, which previously benefited from the Run in 2003 and 2010, provides critical services for people recovering from stroke, motor vehicle accidents, and children with limb deformities. This year’s proceeds will go toward procuring much needed modern physical therapy equipment, enabling the centre to enhance its services and better meet the needs of its patients. The first staging of the Sigma Corporate Run was held in downtown, Kingston in 1999. Since then, the charitable initiative has raised over JMD $750 million dollars for numerous beneficiaries including hospitals, educational institutions and other child and health-related organisations.
